Please log in to the site as soon as possible to review the following items:
YOUR PREFERENCES:
After logging in, check your site preferences (link near the bottom of the page). Make sure that email forwarding is set to the address you'd like your Cyber mail forwarded to. (Go to Preferences -> Email Address Settings -> Forward email to: <enter your email address>).
Then, if you forget your password, you can use the 'Lost Password' link on the main page to generate a new one. You may change your password in the preferences at any time.
Browse the preferences for any other settings you may wish to edit. Please keep your actual name as your username so we can all get to know each other.
MEETINGS:
Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday each month at alternating times: daytime in odd months, 10:00 AM Pacific (1:00 PM Eastern); evenings in even months, 6:00 PM Pacific (9:00 PM Eastern).
Live text-chat meetings with online slide presentations are our basic format. They may or may not involve teleconferencing or "higher-end" web-conferencing (depending on whether presenters or sponsors offer the use of these to the chapter).
IMPORTANT:
Please log in and test your web browser's ability to access the virtual meeting room. DO THIS BEFORE ATTENDING YOUR FIRST LIVE MEETING. A few have needed to install or update their Java plugin, or temporarily disable their firewall. Contact me if you require assistance.
We hope you find CyberChapter rewarding and we encourage you to participate in it's growth. We need committee and board members, presenters and corporate sponsors. Consideration is provided to sponsors in the form of online advertising, links, and kudos.
