Tips for Joining Live Meetings.

Live Meeting Etiquette:

  • Hit "Enter" after typing Message.
  • Post in chunks: add plus sign (+) to signal more is coming.
  • Use (?) or (!) to get the floor.
  • Ten second wait for vote responses.
  • y = yes; n = no; ab = abstain;
    ga = go ahead.
  • Don't get off-topic, be polite.
  • Prepare text in advance, copy/paste at meeting.

"Server Lost Connection" message? Empty file cache (Win IE): Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Delete Files button; Refresh page.

Getting to a virtual meeting:

If you're logged in, Click Here. Otherwise...
  1. Log in at http://www.achmmcyberchapter.org/
    (Click "Login" in the left sidebar)
  2. Choose the folder CHAPTER MEMBERS ONLY
  3. Choose the folder LIVE MEETINGS HERE
  4. Click Go to Live Event, just ABOVE the word Title in the table of folders.
Other tips:
  • If things go awry, refresh your browser window, or, worst case, close all browser windows and follow steps 1 thru 5 again.
  • See at right if you get "Server lost connection message."
